Job Title: Pharmacist Supervisor
Job Site: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: Permanent position - Full Time, M - F, 40hrs/wk.
Aspire RX LLC needs experienced professionals to perform the following:
Compound, dispense prescribed medications on time, prepare unit dose packs for nursing homes/ retail customers. Review prescriptions issued by the physician and determine formulas and ingredients to fill the prescriptions. Work on Medicare billing. Use computerized database to prepare audit reports. Counsel patients on the selection of medications and surgical supplies. Administer immunization vaccines. Analyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interaction. Work on call and week-end to assisted living/ nursing home to fill prescriptions and compliance. Supervise 1 Pharmacy Intern.
Education and experience required: Master's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science plus 2 years experience in job offered. Must have Pharmacist license from State of Pennsylvania.
